Harold & Joy Wise started in business trading as Wise & Mitchell Machinery after purchasing the business from the Ballinger family. The Ballinger family were one of the original New Holland Dealers in Australia.
A new premises was built in 1984 which was located at Railway Terrace, Wolseley S.A.
In 1988 Harold & Joy Wise bought out their partners and changed the business name to Wise Farm Equipment Pty Ltd.
In July 2003 we relocated the business to a new premises in Bordertown, cnr Dukes Highway & Ramsay Tce.
Over the years Wise Farm Equipment has steadily increased its marketing area as well as adding a number of well regarded franchises to suit local requirements.
The Agriculture Sales & Service area now covers from Nhill > Tintinara > Naracoorte with service available both in the dealership or in field from one of our 4WD service vehicles. Parts can be shipped throughout the area with any of the regular courier services.
In March 2006 we took on the Ford franchise & extended our business to sales & service of new & used cars.
Additional renovations were made to the premises to accommodate a service workshop & we employed a Service Technician & have since employed our second qualified technician.
Grant Wise, their son, joined them as a director of the company and is the dealer principal for Wise Ford.
In October 2014, we then took on another franchise in Isuzu UTE.
In the second half of 2014 we started yard works & building extensions to the main workshop as well as a separate storage shed. Further adding to our investment and ability to service our customers.
